Tonight kicked off with a ten minute Boxercise session with Eddie, a video was put up on the projector which took us through the session, we started by hopping on alternate feet then went on to the imaginary skipping rope J 3 minutes to go and the whole lot of us where tiring big time! We all completed the session though and it felt good.
After the Boxercise we split into 2 groups, one looked at music for the commonwealth games and the other food.
COOKING: Jamaican style. Split into 3 groups the ‘starters’ on Pumpkin soup, ‘Main courses’ on Beef Patties, rice and peas, the desserts on Pineapple Upside Down cake, yum! It was good to see everyone working as a team, everyone was listening to the ideas of others no dominating going on.
MUSIC: Music group 1 made stars out of bamboo canes and rope, allot of bamboo canes. Music group 2 used computers to research instruments, where they come from and what their background is with the Commonwealth Games. They were also making a poster for each one. Group 3 researched how instruments are made.
A great night had by all, everyone hungry after the food chats and now more educated on instruments used at the Commonwealth Games!
If you have any questions please ask away!
